He was in there. I could feel him swirling. I felt his kicks, his hiccups.
I looked forward to meeting him whilst still savouring every moment of having him growing inside. It was the only time when he was truly mine.
I saw him wave to the world outside of me. It was so special.
I was so excited the night before he arrived.
It was also extremely painful.
But it was all worth it, and I got to hold his beautiful warm body against mine, on the outside.
Here he was, life in the flesh.

You are making me want another baby, aww, I almost cried at this!
Awww, this is such a beautiful post and the photographs are gorgeous. I used to find myself rubbing my tummy for a while after giving birth - as I was forever massaging my baby whilst pregnant - became such a habit!
Love the scan photos too - how sweet to have a wave from inside - 'Hi 5'!
Thanks for joining in x
I still reminisce to my pregnancy days. Life was so simple back then. I love the memories knowing I will never do it again.
Oh wow! What a celebration of life!!
